BOONE COUNTY - The Florence home of former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry is in foreclosure and will be sold at public auction next week.

Chase Home Finance LLC is owed nearly $360,000 on the house, according to a notice of sale published Thursday in the Boone County Recorder.

Henry, who turns 25 years old today, bought the house in September 2005, the same month he made his NFL debut with the Bengals.

The team released him April 3 after a string of legal troubles and arrests that led to two suspensions from the team.

He is under house arrest at his residence in downtown Cincinnati following his arrest for allegedly assaulting an 18-year-old man at a Clifton apartment complex March 31.

Henry's house is valued at $365,000, which is what he paid for it, according to Boone County property records.

The house is on Appomattox Drive in the Plantation Pointe subdivision in Florence. It appeared to be vacant Friday morning.

A representative for Henry said he had no comment on the matter Friday afternoon.

The auction will be 9 a.m. Thursday on the front steps of the Boone County Justice Center in Burlington.

Is it common practice for an NFL player to carry a mortgage on a $360,000 house? What was this yo-yo doing with his cash?

I mean why take out a loan on a 360K house? I'm sure he could have paid for it cash.
        What's the deal?

I agree with STLRZ D. Can you help a Brotha' out and mow his lawn? Maybe a fresh coat of paint too, if you have some laying around.

Sorry bro... Yes I did, just hadn't gotten around to responding just yet... Actually I sent AS some pics from work that he is gonna doctor up for me that I've had an idea about for quite a while... I tell you, I had three photos in my sig thru this morning, I had used photobucket to match them all at the same height, but hours later they would change sizes (without me even being in the program)... I finally just deleted them all.
