Summers is cut...the good news is:

Mendy, Moore, Redman and Dwyer made the 53-man roster!

The right move. All the best to Frank the Tank.

haha hell no i've had it since 2005. i think it would be appropriate if frank summers doesn't go by the tank any more. we have all seen him block, he is no tank by any means.

Maybe they will try to stick him on the PS. I'm ok either way. I would have liked to see him run the ball more to see if he broke the upright problem.

If they are smart they will be using Redman as FB. Can you imagine season long pounding of redman and mendy? I think that's every bit as good as Rice and McClain.
                Trolls are people too.

The two-back sets looked very good on Thursday.

They'll likely use Redman as a Pony fullback occassionally (I'd like to see that formation used in which they give the ball to Redman a couple of times early, and then later fake it to him up the middle and then toss it to Mendenhall on the old pitchout play...haven't seen that one in a while). However, for blocking purposes, we'll likely see more of David Johnson at FB than anyone. And perhaps the occassional Bronco formation with Legursky at FB on the goal line.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
