NFL says 4 games for Ben

NFL statement: Commissioner Goodell met with Ben Roethlisberger and notified him his suspension is reduced to four regular-season games. During the suspension, Ben can’t be at the team’s practice facility, attend games, represent the club publicly, have contact with the coaching staff or other football personnel, or engage in any team football-related activities or discussions with teammates.
"If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler."

have contact with the coaching staff or other football personnel, or engage in any team football-related activities or discussions with teammates.
This, IMO, makes keeping Batch on the roster (even if Lefty wasn't hurt last night) all the more important. DD is going to need someone to talk to about what's going on out there, and it appears as if he can't talk to Ben about it. I'm not sure Lefty would have been any better.
