    OK - Special Teams

Did you guys think they shone like the brightest sun?

I thought they looked much like last year, even worse potentially: I think Sep may have saved TWO returns for TDs. How disheartening would that have been?

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

STs sucked big time. Given the number of LBs that we drafted over the last few years. one might expect better.

According to Reed, his kickoffs are good and the problem is with the other special team players. As I heard it, Reed said half of the special teams squad doesn't even want to be on special teams.

Reed is a puke if he thinks he is kicking off with any substance and the special teams play horrible. It has to be the coaching in my opinion when it comes to special teams.

Who doesnt want to play, any way we can develop this? I believe ST involves heart and desire. Maybe James Harrison can set the example that ST is cool. Remember that hit on Ed Reed on punt return a couple years ago? That was awesome.

I'm sure Ed Reed remembers it. I'd never seen a fumble shoot out of a guy's hands as if it were shot out of a cannon like that.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

If you advance the page between Ruthless and Joosers posts, you can see two of the greatest plays in recent Steeler history, at the same time. And they are both made by James Harrison.
