I noticed quite a few terrible towels in attendance while watching the Giants feed on NFLN. I also noticed quite a bit of cheering when the Steelers would get a first down, or the officials would announce a penalty on NY. We've already taken over Dallas games, now NY . . . I know it was preseason, but that made me smile.

it was at least 50/50 steeler fans when they last played the jets in NJ... jets were bad that season though

I was at that game. 50/50 is probably a conservative estimate. I'd have to say it was closer to 60/40 us. Definitely seemed there were more of us. My friend (Jets fan) who brought me to the game was embarassed. Almost felt bad

Had the same experience in AZ two years ago. Tons of us and we lost.

Thanks guys!!! Pit jr.'s first game was last years preseason game vs. Arizona. He was only 3 and not quite as into it as he was Saturday night vs. the Giants.

proud, there were a good number of Steeler fans there. Even heard the "Here we go Steelers" chant a few times. Some of the Giants fans near us were annoyed that we had such a big showing. It was great!!

Did you hear any New Yorkers giving Ben a hard time when he came out, since it was his first time playing in a game since the tumultuous offseason? After all, it was in New York when the losers at the draft were chanting "She Said No" when the Make-A-Wish kid came up to the podium to announce the Pouncey selection.

yeah, i was gonna say at least 60-40. seemed like more then that pre game,

but when we lost i saw too many jets fans with smiles on thier faces... might have skewed my mental numbers

Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect. But I didn't hear any anti-Ben sentiment at the game. Its funny because there were a lot of guys in LT (the original one) jerseys and I was thinking, "how can that moron wear that jersey??" Then I looked at 'pit jr. in his Ben jersey and was wondering if people were thinking the same about him. And I know they are completely different situations. We don't need to get into that

If it had been a Jets game, I imagine a lot more jeering at Ben. Giants and Jets fans are different breeds. Giants fans are almost like us. But we're better
