Didn't he hurt his ribs or was that later? I just think they got caught in a clock management issues and thought they could catch the Giant in what would normally be a passing situation with our pass catch RB in the backfield. It was a good play by the Giants DL.
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"

Yes, Redman's ribs were hurt.
Also, I don't believe it was a clock management thing. It's a pre season game and the results don't matter. They had a GL situation with their short yardage back hurt. They just wanted to see what they had with Moore on the GL, clock be damned.
The world already knows what they can not do with Moore at GL. Nothing!!!
We have other RBs trying to make the team and step up. This opportunity should have been given to one of those guys.

Different year, different line.
It's a pre-season game for cripes sake. They were just trying something based on the down, distance and personnel. Not everything can be simulated in practice.
I didn't lose a whole lot of sleep over the call, but preseason is a place to work on everything, including play calling. Combine that playcall, with Lefty's weak attempt at a plunge through the middle on the play before, and I was hoping for something more. It just looked like no one was prepared, even for preseason.
