Ben Roethlisberger made his first appearance onto Heinz Field at 6:40 tonight with the rest of the quarterbacks and the smattering of fans already in their seats let out a cheer. There were no audible boos or other kind of negative reaction.

Roethlisberger, wearing a Steelers baseball cap backwards, proceeded to warm up with the rest of the quarterbacks.

Great to hear. But I honestly didn't expect any different.

I think the only crap Ben is going to have to deal with will be during road games. Give fans stuff to say while he's torching their teams!!!

Fans of opposing teams will only have trashy things to say when he's beating their team's arses. Go Ben!

I think as well that most of the negative reaction in Pittsburgh will come from the non-fan and not hardcore base. I believe that most true fans are happy that he came through this and remains on the team.
