And I walk into a gas station junk food store, wearing my Steelers training camp t-shirt. The girl behind the counter decides to give me a hard time about it. We jab back and forth for a bit, when she admits that she's a cheaters fan. I let her have it for a bit and we laugh.

Then, when the conversation kind of stopped, she dropped the bomb. She said:

"I think Ben is the best QB in the game today, maybe even ever."

I had to buy paper towels. Couldn't believe an honest cheats fan.

For a minute there, I thought you were going to say you ran into Wyoming Cowgirl.

A few years ago, actually it was 2005 there was a quite frequent poster from that part of the country. It could have been Montana but for sure somewhere in that area.

In one of her posts she put in a picture of an Indian on a pony. That was it simply an Indian on a pony with a simple wooded background. She said it would bring the Steelers good karma. [apparently it worked]

Anyway, I had a vague idea what karma was but looked it up anyway. I was kind of close.

Reason I'm mentioning this is I notice a lot of the posters here were also on that pittsburghlive.com or trib site, I forget it's name now but quite a few mention it in the thread about explaining the user name.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else remembers that picture.

I don't remember that post, but a lot of us landed on the Planet after the Trib board died.

I was actually responding to a post on the Trib, hit the "submit" button (Why doesn't my wife come with one of those!!??) and it went to strange HTML stuff. Turns out that they pulled it down while I was typing.

Anyway, welcome. This is far and away the best Steelers board out there.
