As today's pre-season game is between the Steelers and Lions, it's a good of a time as any to feature something from a former player from both teams. If you followed Ozey74's kickoff thread, you may have read about former Steeler and Lion Jimmy "Spiderman" Allen, and that he recorded a version of the Queen classic "Another One Bites the Dust" while playing for the Lions. Unless you lived in the Detroit area in the early 80s like I did, you probably never heard it yourself. Until now.
That's right, folks, I have a copy of it still after all this time. Several years ago I dug out the old 45 single (remember those?) of the song and transferred it to the PC. When this came out, it was HUGE. I remember going to a birthday party when I was about 6 years old and they played the record over and over again. For those old enough to remember, they had one of those turntables with the arm that would flip over the record for you and play it again. I thought that was the coolest thing in the world back then. My, how times have changed.
Anyway, on to the songs. The second song is just a "remix" of part of the song. Unfortunately, I didn't keep the record in the best condition over the years, but the song is there. Enjoy!
