I've never seen this picture before.

I could see if this came out when he was still at USC and didn't have a pro team yet, but it says right on the cover "New Orleans' Newest Saint."

Could you imagine, say, LaMarr Woodley on the cover of a magazine wearing a Green Bay Packers jersey, or Heath Miller on the cover of a magazine wearing an Atlanta Falcons jersey?

It's his college buddy Troy's jersey - so that's ok. And the Pirates cap is representing his gang colors.

It's hard to be college buddies when Troy and Reggie never actually played together. In 2003, Bush was a freshman at USC and Polamalu was a rookie in Pittsburgh, so their Trojan paths never intersected. Bush might as well be wearing an O.J. Simpson Buffalo Bills jersey.
