    Am I right about this?

Do the Steelers have only 78 guys on the current roster? I put together a depth chart and I am only coming up with 78. If I recall correctly they can carry 80 into camp every year?

So does that mean that there are possibly 2 signings coming that we don't know about? There are only 9 WR's on the active roster and I believe the team usually carries at least 10 to Latrobe and there are only 6 FS/SS players on the active roster as well.

Am I just looking too much into to this? Are my numbers wrong? Or are there possibly two vet FA signings coming that we are not aware of?

Please someone with more knowledge, can you fill me in? Thanks!!!

That's 83 names. We know that Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith was cut today, so eliminate him and that makes 82. Pouncey and Worilds don't officially count until they are signed, so we will have to cut 2 more guys when we sign our 1st and 2nd round picks before arriving at Latrobe with 80 guys.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Re: Am I right about this?

Thanks Ruthless....I was missing Isaiah Williams plus my numbers were off by a couple cuz I had a couple players listed at two different spots where they will be competing and just miscounted!!! Appreciate the assistance!!!

For what it is worth, if these 2nd year guys contribute and some of our rookies impress, we have a pretty deep team overall!!!
