When we traded Pickens to the Cowboys. Tell me i'm wrong?

we lost the season before it even started. going all in just to try to secure a .500 season and a playoff win. that was the goal for tomlin and rooney. they didn’t care about next years roster. they didn’t care about the future. they only cared about trying to save face with tomlins post seasons failures by sending him off with a playoff win.How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years? -
If we were going ALL IN we should have kept Pickens with DK to have a stronger WR unit. It was by far our weakest link vs Texans not having WRS that could get open & stretch defenses & make contested catches like Pickens does.When Pickens catches a couple long balls it opens up every other part of the offense. I will die on that hill. Tomlin didn't value that enough.Comment
