it’s been 10 minutes. im sure all 31 teams have made him an offer..How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years? -
Actually, he's still under contract with the Steelers... they're retaining his rights... meaning any team that's interested in having him coach for them in the coming season will have to negotiate a deal w Pittsburgh. I do think several teams will be very interested in getting him, and I do think he would be a good HC in the right situation-- good, veteran roster already assembled, limited say over new personnel brought in, and a very good OC and DC already in the house (given enough control to do their jobs effectively). If he's brought into a situation much like what he stepped into in Pittsburgh, I think he could lead a team to a Super Bowl. he's great at motivating men; through 19 years, I don't believe he ever lost control of the locker room-- his players loved playing for him. The problem here was that he was given way too much control, and that ended up being a big mistake, because he isn't great at evaluating talent, developing young players and coaches, hiring coordinators, running the defense, and setting offensive philosophy.Comment

Compensation would be the cherry on top of the cake. Wish him well and hope the phone is ringing for coach T.Comment
