Its AFCN football. There is usually some “luck” when we win these types of games. Definitely not our best ball but we live to play another day.

There’s nothing to be proud of in how Tomlin and the coaching staff handled the end of that game. The late-game defense was bad, the situational awareness was worse, and the overall game management was sloppy. Yes, there were players who stepped up and played well, but that doesn’t excuse the coaching decisions that put us in that position to begin with. Next week isn’t going to get easier, even at home. If we play like that again, luck won’t save us. The result went our way, but that was not good ball, and it shouldn’t be glossed over just because we survived.
And yet, immediately after the final buzzer, Tomlin was pounding his chest and blowing kisses to the TV camera, as though he had done a superb job coaching and that was why we won. Infuriated me.

For those who think that this game caused Harbaugh to be fired, you haven't been paying attention to What's going on in Baltimore. There's been rumblings about him being fired since very early in the season. Also, and this is not meant as a defense of Tomlin who I would like to see move on after this year but don't see him being outright fired...The level of under performance of this year's Ravens is such an epic failure that has never been seen by the Steelers in the Tomlin era. The Ravens came into the season as a potential SB contender and finished below .500 and missed the playoffs. On top of that, there were rumors of Lamar and Harbaugh having issues, and we all know who wins that one. This was not simply about Sunday night.

I was surprised they didn't give Harbaugh a chance to resign. Perhaps they did but he wants the buyout he wouldn't have received had he quit. It seems like a bad way for an 18 year man to go.

I don't think we should have lost it. The 3rd & 7 play right before the pass to Likely in FG position, Herbig if this was a 1970's or 1980's game would have CRUSHED Lamar for like a 15 yared loss & ended the game. BUT since we have new sissy rules where you get roughing the qb for hitting high, hitting low, throwng qb down to hard, landing directly on qb ETC ETC...Herbig tried to sack Lamar way too "friendly" & Lamar was able to throw some weird ass 180 incomplete pass over the LOS. THEN on 4th & 7 Ramsey could have destoyed Likely & broke up that pass EASILY. But in my opinion he didn't want to get hitting a defensless reciever, so he tried jumping over Likely to try & knock pass down with no contact.
