another average year. another average result. I'll always hope for the best - but even if they beat the rats, a deep run doesn't appear likely. If I had to sum up today - it came down to 2 irrefutable facts. This entire season, everyone who is even aware the Steelers are a football team were also aware there were no viable WR's beyond DK metcalf. CA 3 is a 4th guy at best. They tried plug in a fix with Theilen and MVS, but that isn't the answer. No WR's today, not one capable of competing at a high level. That's fact one. Fact two is Tomlin's arrogance and stubborness to not devise a game plan around the players left who CAN catch the ball - your TE's and to use them in the one place Cleveland was vulnerable - the middle of the field. Arrogance has summed up this entire season - and today, the bill came due.
