DK Metcalf is a thug. Mike Tomlin continues to produce thugs at a much higher rate than other NFL teams. If the Steelers had any accountability within the organization they would cut the thug immediately. Set an example once and for all that Steelers football is a professional franchise and not one which is for out of control animals like DK. Metcalf is so stupid he decided to go to the same fan he allegedly had a problem with last season. Have some control and restraint. But Tomlin will baby the dummy for the rest of the season so he can down in thug history with the likes Haskins, Brown, Bell, Bryant, Claypool, Pickens, Fitzpatrick, Ramsey and Heyward etc.

Perhaps you're right HS. My frustrations stem from the perceived out of control actions of these players over the last several years. It seems to be accelerating. You had no idea that DK had that history. That goes for EVERY PLAYER you don't follow. This clown that DK reacted to was already reported by DK as he tried to get a rise out of DK when he was a Seahawk. Dude literally CELEBRATED when he clearly intentionally got DK to touch him. I never knew the exact details of DK to that detail. Why in the world did we let George walk vs that behaviour. I know now George is a 1400 yard guy and perhaps I'm having hindsight but our brain trust perceived DK had more potential and paid him 30M$. We are running a very expensive rehab facility.

I assume DK started with a clean slate when he became a Steeler, otherwise it would have been a retarded move by Tomlin and company to pick him in the first place. Therefore knowing DK's history the responsibility for his actions on the field, and in the locker is squarely on the arrogant shoulders of the head coach, who has failed in this capacity with several of his thugs over the years. To me this a organizational failure in discipline. The only way to show players what is expected of them as a Pittsburgh Steeler would have been to cut DK immediately.
