    2026 draft

Realizing that MT has 2 more years left on his contract and that Mr. Rooney has no intention of eating 32 large, I wonder about the strategy of drafting our "next" franchise QB while Tomlin is still in charge. You all remember that throwing over the middle is verboten so why would our resident genius be allowed anywhere close to the new guy to school him with that mindset. This season is all over as far as I can tell and with all the glaring holes on the roster we should draft to all of our weaknesses , get rid of the "over the hill gang", and wait till Tomlin is gone before we take a shot on the new QB. Thoughts??

If they are going to continue to rarely throw the ball more than 5 yards down the field, what is the point of spending a 1st round pick on a QB? Tomlin ain't going anywhere unless he chooses to.

Good points regarding not drafting the qb while were in 9 wins 8 loss hell. Tomlin if gone in 28 would at least tie into the 28 draft which should be a really good year for qb's as a bunch of todays freshman will be ready for that draft. We can only hope.

If you think the '28 draft is good for QBs you should see the '29 draft.
