Dwinsgames, it's been my experience in life that there are some people who.are contrarian just to stir the pot so to speak. They just want to.go opposite to.passionate opinions just to get a rise from someone who believes in their opinions. Most of the time these types of people are kind of like those creatures that ride on the body of sharks, you know parasites. Can't make it on their own but live off effing with people who can. Don't get angry or raise your heart rate over a message board. We should all be Steeler fans on here and ride through this time. But brother there are scavengers out there who enjoy making people miserable.

Back to the topic at hand... The ONE thing Mason had been really good at in the past, was the deep ball. For whatever reason, it sucked against the Bears. And the one time Mason took off running, he looked reasonably fast for him. Of course it was called back. But why, for most of the rest of the game, did he look like a statue in the pocket? This game just summarized the frustration of this whole season (and most of the past 5+). Some really nice plays here and there, on both sides of the ball, cluttered together with mistakes, timing issues, penalties, dropped balls. This just isn't becoming a cohesive TEAM. It's not a team that can find a way to win. There's really no point in it squeaking into the playoffs.

Rudolph's worst trait as a QB showed up in this game. His lack of pocket awareness and pressure often leads to negative plays. Some QBs have eyes in the backs of their heads. Rudolph does not. People praise him for 'standing in the pocket, willing to take a hit'. But in reality, it's him not sensing pressure.

The Bears were missing 3 starting linebackers and the Steelers did not throw to the middle of the field a single time yesterday. The passing chart from the game is criminal. Coaching maleficence.

Not one throw to the MOF. There's a lot of chatter about what a great OC Arthur Smith is. I don't see it. Better than Canada, granted, but you could say that about most any stiff you installed at OC. If it's not Smith, it's Tomlin putting his thumb on the offense. How often have we seen this crap over the past four or five years? It's getting old.
