Depth piece for now... which we need. I don't think there are any FA WRs out there who would move the needle for us. Sounds like we could have had Jakobi Meyers or Raheed Shaheed if we'd only been willing to part with just a little more minor draft capital. But it might be for the best... I don't really want to see a full implosion, but that might provide the jolt to get this team to make significant, necessary changes.

its wild to me how as soon as a defender goes down we immediately go out and get bodies but a #2 WR is just not important to us in 2025. Lockett is old as hell but also reliable, did we even try to get him?

Sure Asante might bring something, probably nothing more than what we already have though......BUT IF PICKENS had been our #2 WR all year what would that have brought? We can't even get an AVERAGE #2 WR to want to play for us & we already had Pickens to start the season if we wanted. How does that trade move look now?
