    2nd half: 6 possession.. 2 rushing attempts

We totally abandoned the run in the second half when we had success on the ground in the first half. I put this on AR. I’m sure he checked out of a few runs. This is the same thing that happened in NY.

You could tell, we couldn't give AR more than 3 seconds. We had success running in the 1st half. Somethings defy explanation and only 2 rushes in 6 possessions is one of them.

I read on another site that when Semualo went out with an injury, the coaches decided to abandon the big package offensive (rushing) attack

The Steelers had 86 yards at the half. That was more than the average the Packers were giving up for entire games. You can't abandon what is working because 1 guy goes down.

Very few runs and all the passes were 2 yd passes to the flat to the RB or a 2 yd screen/bubble screen or a 5 yd pass to the rb during garbage time.

The issue with the running game is that the rushing success came with the jumbo package. After Seumalo went out, Anderson was needed at LG, and he is the key to the jumbo. It wasn't so much a decision to abandon the run, as it was missing the personnel that makes it work.

Though, they didn't try to keep running enough when Seumalo went out. Maybe they still could have had success. But at the same time, I can understand that Rodgers may have thought that he could pass his way to more scores. I'm not nearly has hacked off about what happened on offense as I am on what happened on defense.

I’m sorry SFIT but that makes no sense. 1 guy goes down and you can’t run anymore? That is a terrible excuse. They gave up on the run plain and simple.

Also.. Warren’s first run in the second half was for 4 yards. Then he had a 5 yard run but MK had a 15 yard penalty for being an idiot. So it wasn’t that we couldn’t run, we chose not to and it its something that we have to look for if we get down early vs the Colts. Does AR check out and get pass happy once down? Maybe.
