They are just playing with us. Should have had an easy 6. We had 10 days to get ready for this. This is the low point of Pittsburgh Steeler defensive football. We got the Colts next week and then the Chargers. We are going to get smacked around but as Stephen A says Mike Tomlin has 18 straight winning seasons.

Turns out that when you're outplayed and outcoached, it's hard to win football games

Tomlin criticizing the offense after the game while he is in charge of a defense that is allowing the 3rd most amount of yards in the entire NFL so far, a defense that has allowed over 30 points in 4 out of 7 games so for. He never takes blame for anything directly it's alway deflection which is probably why he hasn't gotten better as a coach over the years, quite the opposite I would argue. I just don't know why anyone is expecting anything different at this point, it's the same thing over and over with this team under Tomlin, that's not going to change which is why I've pretty much stopped posting.

Well, we've still got some Tomlin supporters which is why in general, he's still here. Afraid of change. We've seen this from his teams, regardless of who the QB is for a decade now. If any other coach was as enept as he's been over the last decade at winning games that really matter, they would have been let go. We saw Marty Shottenheimer let go because he couldn't win playoff games. We saw Tony Dungy let go in Tampa Bay because he couldn't win playoff games. We saw Jim Mora let go because he couldn't win playoff games. The issue with this organazatin is Rooney at the core. He is stuck in the past on how to operate a modern day NFL team. And....his lack of money has this organazation behind in the amount of scouts it should have; the facilities it should have. If Rooney is going to remain the owner, then he needs to get out the way and get a real GM (not impressed with Khan; seems to be a Tomlin yes man) who can recognize and evaluate talent and can hire a modern day coach and bring a mondern day offense and defense to this team.

Tomlin is still here because of Rooney and because we don’t fire coaches. Its not because Tomlin still has defenders. Its time tho. Clearly its time.
