Mike Tomlin - Banana in the Tailpipe Trick

So after my hockey game ended in OT, I turn on the Steelers game to start the 2nd half. The overpriced Mike Tomlin defense played like garbage once again. What I saw was a defense that stalled and couldn't stop old man Unibrow. It was like watching the Beverly Hills Cop movie with Eddie Murphy's banana in the tailpipe trick. A god damn joke! I'm glad I've tuned out most of the games this season for the first time ever. Nothing will change until Mike Tomlin is fired. Another 1st round exit upcoming.

I have to agree. He's supposedly a defense-minded coach and he's got the highest paid defense in the NFL. The DL was an absolute joke, the secondary couldn't cover a toddler with a parachute. The regime needs some serious changing, and soon.

I think the Bungles, WITH Flacco, are a pretty good team again. But the fact that they ran all over us shows that Tomlin hasn't been able to address the primary issue that got us ejected from the wild card round in embarrassing fashion last season. I've had more than enough of Tomlin. He finally hired a decent offensive coordinator and now the offense actually resembles an NFL offense with a good QB at the helm. But he has no answers on defense and seemingly refuses to hire a good defensive coordinator. However this defense ends this season, is a direct reflection of Tomlin. He's the face of the defense.

You can blame the coaching all you want but the defense allegedly has veteran leaders/captains on the field who aren’t being held accountable.
