Rodgers played well enough for us to win, IMO. Defense and coaching let us down

Can’t blame Rodgers. The defense acted like they didn’t know who Jamar Chase was . Porter and Ramsey got abused . And Ramsey was brought here specifically for these match ups. Porter still hasn’t learned enough technique to stop all the clutching and holding.

The deep ball interception was the worst throw of the season for Roger’s. The D was embarrassingly bad. The secondary gets an F. Total failure. The D line was not much better. And the Bengals ran wild for being the worst rushing team in the league. Feels as if you go to watch this team knowing there a better than average chance the D might not show up. Had a chance to put a strangle hold on the division and did not show up at all on D.

Love how this site deletes the paragraph spacing when you post. This board is worse than the secondary.

Typical game when the Steelers have a chance to make a statement and get some distance.

How is it that the D-line let Flacco stand back there and just pick us apart?

Is Mike Tomlin the worst DC in team history?...

Before the game the Bengals disclosed to the Steelers that Chase had a rare form of virulent Covid and they should stay a minimum of 6 feet away from him at all times.

After this many years under Tomlin, the pattern is undeniable. I don't think it will change until he's gone

Definitely wasn’t a lot of defending every blade of grass going on last night.

I certainly don't put all the blame on Rodgers. But the one INT was pretty awful and lead to points, which could have made the difference in this game. For THIS game, Flacco out-played him. Of course, that had at least something to do with our inept defense that could neither pressure Flacco nor cover the receivers. And still, the SAME problem that got us humiliated in the wild card round last season, is still a problem this season. We can't stop the run. EVEN against the worst running team in the league. Assuming that glaring problem remains, I see zero chance of winning a playoff game this season.

I'd go with Chase + Pickens is better than DK + basically no one. Rodgers looks pretty good with us. I think he'd look a lot better with their WRs.

I think there were blades of grass they were defending. Just none of them were near anyone with Chase in their name. Or Pickens.

The Steelers loss a close game vs a divisional opponent. It seems that many of you guys are new to the NFL.
