    On to Cincy

I'm a bit nervous about this one. We don't have a good record w Thursday night games. But if we can take care of business, wow, what a lead in the division we would have 6 games in. I love the way the running game is progressing. Need to work it hard vs. the Bum-gals, IMO.

Thursday night games are tough but we know this team. Flacco is going to throw a bunch of prayers and he has the WR’s who can answer them. We need to hit him early and often.

I took the Packers in both of my Survivor leagues and the Bungles actually had me worried a couple of times during the game. They looked a lot better than they did with Browning at QB, but it could be that Green Bay is overrated also.

Flacco's 2nd half was much better than his 1st. He stated to get into a groove with Chase and Hiigins. They had 15 caches between them mostly in the 2nd half. Hendrickson is hurt ant will be <100% if he plays The Bungles have a weak defense. We should be able to run the ball We know Flacco gets it out fast. We have got to stop Higgins, I don't think we can stop Chase. Flacco has never thrown to 2 top tier guys like this. He may be 250 + yards passing. We got to move him off his spot. It's hard to win on the road Thursday night's. This may be tougher than we perceive.

14-21 all time on Thursday. Flacco threw for 219 but his average was 4.9. And the team only ran for 55 yards. This is a winnable game.

I think the D is playing well enough to win. But I am concerned about the Steelers constant issue of being weak at defending the middle of the field vs te and wr alike. Flacco is experienced enough and the bengals receivers are good enough to exploit it. Cleve not so much. They were just awful. Drops not withstanding.

The Bengals have good/great players that can help the team win games. Joe is an experience QB that has a history with the Steelers. He has the potential to "turn have a good/great game manager game because of his history vs the Steelers. Divisional games are tough because of the familiarity of studying film and playing vs one another. I expect a tough game where either team can win depending on which teams show up. My money is on the Steelers to win. The Bengals with Burrow it would be a toss up. Most times mistakes, are where games are won or loss. Game by game basis.

Hit Flacco hard and often. This is a game more critical than most. Division aside - if Cincy wins, they are back in the race. If they lose - it's gonna be a tough road. The Steelers need to take care of business on Thursday night for once.

Under Mike Tomlin -- The Steelers are 2-8 in road TNF games, 0-6 in road divisional TNF games, and have not won a road TNF game since 2016 against the Indianapolis Colts. Lots of negative stats on this front as they hope to break that trend this week.

The key to this game will be to make Flacco move and not sit stationary and pick us apart. Make him move off the spot and hit him as much as possible. It would help greatly if Ramsey and Porter were available for this game too. On offense, we have to have some semblance of a running game this game. If Warren isn't effective then it's time to give Gainwell the majority of the carries. Whoever can run the ball. This game has trap written all over it for us. And I'm not the biggest Tomlin guy but Tomlin calling out the Brown's general manager by name for dealing Flacco within the division was ballsy. Who does that?? Who helps a division rival?

The Browns, Ravens and Bengals have combined to go 0-10 since Sept. 22.
