Did you see Mason with a PFF score of 61 for victory formation snaps?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

Apparently the way PFF works is: 1) Have the guy go through the grading process and give the guy a 77.2 2) If it's Garrett, then you get a talking to from your boss and are forced to regrade him to an 89.9. https://x.com/ByJoshCarney/status/1977802413701746834 He must have had a lot of kinda, sorta almost plays on Sunday. Because he didn't really show up on the stat sheet.

Capt is still "gas lighting" the Windy's of this fan base. Go figure.

Cap is just pointing out how irrational the grading of PFF is and why it doesn’t hold much weight when arguing how good a player performed in a game. I know Jones has struggled early on but did anyone see him performing at a 42.1 last week? Out of Highsmith, Herbig, Watt and Garrett who had the best game? According to PFF it was Garrett.

But you don't "get it" Dizz. I have been educated by Windy so I no longer wallow in my ignorance. The effectiveness of Garrett cannot be measured in mere "counting stats". Because we had to use so many resources just to keep him from single handedly winning this game, it freed up his teammates to create havoc which is why Aaron spent all day on his backside and the run game was shut down. Garrett's measureable impact can only be understood by the savvy fan who can grasp the nuances of the game once pff let's us know who played well.

I now only watch NFL games AFTER the PFF scores have been posted so that I know what I'm looking for.

Is being more efficient in the redzone a box score?

Someone on FB said the only reason Garrett didn’t get more stats is because AR was “roaming” and throwing the ball quickly. May PFF gives Garrett an extra second so he has more PFF sacks and pressures than the box score shows
