Yet another poor performance by ARod

Interpreting PFF Scores 60 = Average: A score of 60 is considered average performance. 70s = Above Average: Scores in the 70s are seen as above average. 80s = Good: Scores in the 80s indicate good performance. 90s = Elite: Players with scores in the 90s are considered elite. Below 60 = Below Average/Poor: Scores in the 50s are below average, while those in the 40s or lower are considered poor. ARod? A paltry 58. Gets no love because he has few if any "big time throws". No credit for doing EXACTLY what he needs to do under the circumstances. Far better when Russ was waiting for the deep ball, taking unnecessary sacks, but hitting on one which is more valuable than hitting a receiver in stride resulting in even more actual yards. Funny how ARods receivers just "happen" to get all that yac, yet he gets no credit for any of it. Better to hit a 40 yard bomb where the receiver stops jumps and falls, and STILL settle for field goals than being a red zone beast among the leaders in actual touchdowns,

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

This is an excellent example of why "game manager" isn't a slur. It's really hard to manage a game well under center in the NFL. We hope not to need him to be insanely good to win games. Make good decisions quickly (before this line gets him killed). Get it to guys in stride. Especially DK, who's a big problem for defenses when he's running at speed in space.
