If he was playing in this offense he’d be throwing fits left and right. Muth has 7 catches on the year, no targets yesterday, he’s quiet as a church mouse. If that happened to GP, we’d have fireworks.

Steelers are a run-first offense. Pickens would be the clear WR2 with Metcalf balling. When Prescott is healthy they are a 600 passes a season offense. I don't think the Steelers want Rodgers passing 600 times this season. If he does, it's a clear sign the run game is failing. 25-30 pass/gm would be about right.

At the same time Pickens is flourishing in Dallas and looks like he is going to be Daks new favorite target in a contract year. Seems like Pickens made the right move and Muth may need to speak up or end up on the bench.

We should trade Muth & Highsmith. Muth couldn't even block his man on FG attempt, drops too many passes, goes down like a rock on first cobntact, & commits a good aount of penalties. He's the third best TE on the team.

If we threw more to our 2 starting WRS down the field the running game would work better.

Pickens is a perfect fit for Dallas. Lot's of drama in Big D every season. If they win and he's fed the rock - he'll be happy. but the cowboys haven't won squat in over 25 years. they WILL hit some rough patches. When that happens, his lack of maturity and excessive petulance and narcissim will have a fertile environment from which to bloom. I expect the meltdown, distractions and ultimately failure to be epic.

If they do trade Muth, I hope Omar has a better sales pitch than LPman

Glad we traded GP and Muth is expendable. GP WOULD be a problem here. We saw it. Another consideration. ARod has no time to throw deep which kills most of Pickens value. He does not lose his man, and Rodgers ain't about throwing prayers on contested catches. That combination means GP would be running tons of deep routes for nothing which frustrates him. GP is a talented idiot. Cowboys are a circus which is PERFECT place place for.his circus catches. 40 point ties which feature him is the perfect landing place for him.

Yeah, when we win our 7th ring, i sure hope it's with nice players who go to church, donate to the community & smile politely at all the cameras. It would be such a shame to have players play well on the field but not act as we'd like them to before & after the game starts & ends. Would really tarnish that 7th trophy.

Not sure why I can’t quote anyone at the moment but LPMAN is spot on. For some reason this city loves to find a player who is a bit dramatic and just poke him over and over again. It makes for great story lines and clicks but it makes out r team worse. CP said Rodgers doesn’t like throwing to covered players and that is false. That man loves the back should lee pass and has dropped dimes to WR’s draped by defenders. That Metcalf TD was a prime example. Was Pickens an idiot at times? Sure.. but so are tons of WR’s like Hill, AJ Brown, etc when they don’t get targets. Good WR’s are always open and the greats aren’t shy about letting us know. Dallas is a perfect fit for him because they throw him the ball… lol.

LP, the receiver position is full of divas. Please provide me the list of Pickens caliber, selfish diva receivers to start a SB victory? Plenty of selfish allpros. Not many champions. Pickens will rack up stats with Dallas but not much else just like most divas. I can provide you with 10 absolute boyscouts with rings for every ONE diva you find. So yes, you described the kind of receiver that wins championships. Pickens is extremely talented. But he is slso as Forrest Gump says: "like a box of chocolates".

Not only is Pickens a diva, but he is the worst kind of diva. Many selfish divas cannot be criticized for selfishly "tuning out". You never question their effort. Pickens is so emotional he just doesn't care in the moment. Pickens has 10 times the ABILITY to block than tiny Austin. He put people on their backside and said he does it to impress. But Austin made the block that got DK into the end zone. Nothing we've ever seen in Pickens leads me to think he would have EVER worked so hard to make that block. He would be mad because DK got so much love. That mentality is a cancer. which is why selfish receivers do not have wins commensurate with their talent.
