    It might be time.....

To start to formulate a Plan B for LT. Broderick Jones hurt already and the pads aren't even on.

This is troubling to say the least. I guess you could think of putting TF over there and look for a RT.

    Dude is trending bust.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

If his body can't stay healthy, he will be disappoint. Another minor injury. A young player can only have so many ... before RED FLAG.

Do we have a plan B? More like a plan C.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Exactly why the team should not have waited until the start of year 3 to execute plan A.

That's what happens when your team doesn't make the lines a priority like the other team in the state. When you only half way address a long term need area, one injury in that area is devestating.

Yes, find out now if he can cut it or not. if not, move TF to LT and scrub the waiver wires for a RT.

I'm starting to think Jones isn't going to get a second contract here.

Two 1st rounders, a 2nd and 4th rounder and a prized FA pickup a couple years ago.

We did make the OL a priority, maybe we didn't choose the right guys and we definitely don't have a good OL coach who can develop them.

Reports form camp say Jones has been beaten a few times. Not panicking yet, he dereses time to get his sea legs at left tackle.

If he is 3 weeks in and his play remians the same ... GULP.

Depending on the next week or so, may have to consider TF at LT and BJ at RT.

                      THIS.

Until proven otherwise, I'm of the opinion that nearly the entire coaching staff needs to be replaced, starting with Tomlin. I see so many articles saying we're all in for a super bowl this year. This should be a bright spotlight on Tomlin and the coaching staff this season. If we can't be even competitive in a playoff game, I'd wipe the coaching staff clean as soon as possible.

Jones played left tackle in college. Has he played one NFL game at left tackle yet?

He didn't play much in college.

He's played more RT in the NFL than LT in ncaa.

And his biggest problems seem to be mental, not right vs left.

Hopefully he breaks out this year. But I wouldn't be holding your breath.

Worried about Fautanu, too. He’s going against the best, but I’ve heard reports that TJ is schooling him.

I’m a little worried that he’s the next Dotson. Has all the tools, but the oline coach simply can’t get through to him
