        At one point there was talk of getting a challenge specialist to take that away from Tomlin. I don't think that ever happened. Or if it fdid, it doesn't work very well.

          First, I don't think any team would have someone do this that "took away" the responsibility for the final call from the HC. Just someone who's job is to focus on it and advice the HC.

          I think the team has been strongly against having a guy who's sole job is monitoring for challenges. Seems to me this is tied with their general reluctance to use analytics.

          I do think they maybe gave this role to some other quality control type coach last year?
