      Makes sense.

We should end up 3rd in the division.

But it's been like that for a while. And one of the teams that is "better" than us tends to under-perform expectations (Who dey? you might ask), and we end up finishing 2nd because we have a system that is super-boring to watch but gives less talented teams a better-than-expected chance of winning.

        I'd say pretty fair assessment.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

A good break down. I mostly agree with the rakings.

Where is Porter? Where is Watt? And most importantly we got the best punter! No need to mention his name.

The author must have missed them..or he is a Ravens fan.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Lolz, Warren will be the starter at camp, *maybe* on opening day, but Kaleb will have the most carries.

Yes , with Johnson and Gainwell in the backfield, Warren just isnt going to have the role that would put him above a Chase Brown. Also I think Chase Brown is better than Warren.

I think Warren will edge him out, but it will be close.

Dark horse is C-f'n-Patterson. Who Smith loves and somehow isn't cut yet.

Look up. Smith doesn’t make roster decisions.

I agree that Tomlin should cut him.

But if you don't see the throughline from Smith to Patterson, or really just to Smith's pee-wee soccer style of load management then I think you're kind of blind.

Tomlin certainly deserves responsibility for hiring him though.

And it is insane that Patterson is still on the roster. He's a return specialist that was pretty close to being the worst returner in the league last year.

And he was **** talking the team after the Rats game saying the real problem was that he didn't get enough touches.

I'd probably flip 1 & 2 on the QB. While Lamar has more tools, Burrow is the better pure passer. If I was building a team from the ground up and had my choice of those QBs, I'd go with Burrow.

Otherwise, I think the rankings make sense. Seeing it that way, it's a bit of a bummer that we have no number 1 position on offense. I miss the days of the killer b's when we had number ones in the division at QB, WR, RB.

It's a tough call. I think either order is reasonable.

A big jump between these two and the rest though.

I agree that Burrow is the better pure passer. But what gets him in trouble is general lack of escapability. If the Bengals ever manage to get a decent OL together Burrow could become the first 6000 yard passer.
