Because it would be a kick in Ben's teeth. The last face of our franchise. NO WAY would they give him 7. Even 12 would be bordering on blasphemy.

I'd give him 0, for how much respect I have for the guy. None.

I never understood the #12 thing. Didn't hesitate to give Swann and Stallworth's numbers away...multiple times.

IMO the only numbers sacred are Mean Joe, Franco, Troy and Lambert

I announce I’m ready to sign, roll into Pittsburgh and refuse to sign unless jersey 12 is part of his deal.

Rodgers can take it or leave it, team has no leverage. Are they gonna deny him over a player who has nothing but hate for the city that made him famous?

If he Rodgers I am petty as all get. I take 12 just to stick it to TB
im pretty sure terry made pittsburgh famous
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

1,7,and 12 are out. Maybe a current player will give up his jersey number.

That is IF he signs. I am against a huge cap drain for one year on a 40+ year old QB who is quick to point the finger.

At this stage of his career, Mason might be the better QB.

didn’t he say he would play for 10 million?

Blasphemy, he is getting Kenny Pickett’s #8.

              Is nothing sacred????
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Hopefully washes and bleaches it thoroughly before putting it on.

Hopefully he can remove the stench Pickett left on the number
