Did you take Dizz as a sarcastic counter on your point?

Looks to me he just agreed with you that the stats are meaningless. The rest is HIS TAKE as to why HE feels the referenced stats are meaningless. If I recall correctly hstorically, Dizz is not impressed by practice numbers.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

Ditto on Pickett being a BAD pick. Horrible QB class.

I'm constantly amazed how some portray Pickett as a victim when he quit on the team when he found out he'd have to prove himself when Wilson was signed

Now on his third team in 18 months...the NFL knows who and what Pickett is

        Yep

        He got benched for Mason.

I like Mason, but he's a career backup.

          No.. it was definitely sarcasm.

          It’s not meaningless.

"At just 23 years old, this 6'4", 236 pound QB is bringing some serious winning vibes to the Burgh.

He lit it up at Ohio State in 2024 throwing for 4,010 yards, 35 touchdowns, and completing 73% of his passes (yep, he led the Big Ten in all of those). Oh, and he added 7 rushing TDs too.

Not to mention... he was named Offensive MVP in both the Cotton Bowl and the National Championship which the Buckeyes won."

I say it again, for his last 4 college games ( all in the playoffs ) he played like a first round QB!

Show me another college in 2024 QB who completed 73% of his passes or more and threw for over 4,000 yards. I save you some time, Howard stands alone. The guy is smart and a winner too. # 18. I am very exicted.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Okay so that one player in all of college football who played competition several notes below what Howard played.

Sanders did not run a 40 or throw at all star games. I think his arm was aided by the attitude of Colorado and those grade C DB's he faced. Just a bit of depth behind the numbers!

He was named 4th best QB at Browns mini camp though.

He also benefited from all of the things you mentioned above, plus a very good WR/CB.

Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

who gives a damn about a QB’s 40 time? lmao..

you asked, he answered correctly and instead of just saying “Oh, I forgot about him”.. you go on a weird rant about altitude and 40 times.

I hope that Will Howard is great.

I expect that he'll be hanging his jacket with guys like Case Keenum and Colt Brennan and Bailey Zappe and Dwayne Haskins, not Marino and Elway and Brady and Ben.
