I won't be around during the draft this year so I wanted to get my analysis out now. Obviously I can't fill in the names yet, but this is my analysis of each pick. I left the picks as is without trades.
Round 1: Wow! How did he drop to 21? I had this guy as my number 3 rated prospect overall. How did the Khan-man convince every other team to let him slide? It's early but I think that this will be the best pick of any team in this draft. A++
Round 3: Ha! No problem trading away our second for DK, because this guy is an easy second rounder. Addressed a huge need and a Steeler type player to boot. Excellent pick. A++
Round 4: BPA. That's all you need to know. This guy is the steal of the draft. I had him as a late first rounder. A+++
Round 5: You may not have heard of this guy, but a friend of mine said that he once saw a report from a guy who he'd never heard of and that he thinks he remembers hearing his name and he kind of remembers that it wasn't horrible. A+
Round 6: I know, I've never heard of this school either. Just goes to show that the Steelers are leaving no stone unturned, unlike all those other teams who....well, I guess they leave stones alone. The Steelers are obviously playing on another level here. A+++
Round 7: Don't know how he was still there and nobody grabbed him. Mid first round grade on this guy and only the Steelers realized. Khan-man playing jedi mind tricks. A+++++
My overall grade. I wanted to go conservative because it is difficult to grade an entire draft class before watching them play for at least three years, so my conservative grade is only A++.
See how close I am next Thursday. It's still a week out so I may only hit 5 out of 6.
