this is pretty disgraceful for an organization to lie to a middle school. A contest was won and the prize was suppose to be an appearance by some players. instead the kids got the shaft. Norwich, CT is a whole hour and a half from foxboro.
On a side note i live in northern VT and a few years ago when my daughter was in first grade her school won a contest for collecting milk cartons. the prize was an apperance by some red sox. Coco Crisp, Brandon Donnelly and Mike Timlin spent an afternoon at the school, signed autographs and took pictures. i hate the red sox but it was very classy and it meant a lot to the kids at her school
