Oh he would definitely look better for sure, I don't see how anyone can say otherwise.

Watching these teams in the playoffs it's like the Steelers might as well be in a different league.

Does it really hurt anyone? I doubt anyone on the Steelers really cares that he went along for the ride with the Eagles. It's not like they'd feel they missed out by not having Kenny as a backup on the Steelers.

Good for Kenny, but that's all he is, a backup QB who comes in to do the dirty work. His attitude got him out of Pittsburgh. He could have sucked it up here and worked his a** off to prove he is a 1st rd. pick. Instead he sulked his way to Philly.

His SB performance will allow him to sell cars or whatever face recognition venture he engages in in Philly after he's done.

Didn't hurt a bit. The one pass he was allowed to throw actually reminded me of why I wouldn't want him as the Steelers' starting QB. A pass of less than 10 yards that had no chance of being caught. That pass looked so familiar. We can talk all we want about Kenny getting a ring but I don't really care about that. I care if he would have won a ring if he remained in Pittsburgh, and I can't see any way that he would have.

We went 0-5 to end the season. Guess who started and won a game during that stretch?

Kenny beat the Cowboys which clinched the division and secured the #2 seed for the Eagles. It was also their first sweep since 2011.

Like I said.. it has to hurt a little.

lmao.. you think they called a hail mary and he checked down? That was a “unless its there, throw it in the dirt” call.

When they needed Kenny to start a game and win he delivered and they clinched the division.

Nah, I'm actually happy for Kenny.

But it was the right move for both parties.

Some people don't like being f'd with and lied to. Do you? KP may never be more than a backup. But....

They gave KP the worst OC, maybe in the history of the NFL.

He was handcuffed by Tomlin, just like every other QB since Ben.

His WRs routinely quit on plays. (yet that's excused by Tomlin)

He was told he was the starter, then would compete for the job, then that Russ was in the 'pole position' (or whatever stupid quip Tomlin made)

He had teammates openly recruiting other QBs.

                  Etc, etc, etc

                    Yep.

I don't feel bad about Oladokun having rings either.

If Steelers had drafted him I guarantee he would be considered a bust by now or at best a bridge QB.
So true. I would like to add the WRs to that list of players who wouldn't want to come to the Steelers because of our conservative offense. We'll keep ending up with average players at best in free agency.

Yeah maybe so, but Pickett has a Super Bowl and his cancerous former teammate Minkah doesn't. It's karma and it couldn't happen to more deserving persons like Stinkah and his liar of a HC Mike Tomlin.

Perfectly summed up. No QB would have stayed in this situation having to deal with that sort of dysfunctional locker room, poor offensive scheme, lazy WRs, and a integrity challenged HC.

Plenty of players have superbowl rings that never even saw ‘garbage time’.
that’s a memory that they will have forever.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

This is what I understand, Kenny had to leave because the Steelers management are liars and the team is coached by cheats and liars. Is that what the responders to this thread are saying?

Nobody practices and everybody quits on the team. Minkah Fitzpatrick is what a POS as is Cam Hayward. WRS jog routes and no one wants to play in Pittsburgh.

Kenny Pickett is a great QB and he will be a long term player in the NFL. Is that what you people think? Come on this seems like a Stains thread.

KP will never be more then a Backup in the NFL. He probably won't move on from Philly because they own his contract correct? He's not making more then he will this year and next. He's from the area, as I said in my previous post he will sell cars or some other face recognition venture. I don't think he moves on from Philly.
