    INTERESTING ANYONE HAVE ACCESS

The article's headline "the Steelers had a deal in place to trade Sweed to NFC team?"

That could imply a few things,

    1) The FO, saw no progress in him over the last OTA.
    2) The FO, saw Sweed the odd man out with the WR FA and the 2010 rookies ( they may actual contribute on "O" this season.

If this true, then his injury is irrelevant to the team going into 2010 season.

Too bad, feel sorry for the kid. And think where our WR corp would be if he lived up to his potential.

    3) Sweed's a world class malingerer.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

All I know is that it was the Bucs. I didn't hear that a deal was in place but that it was discussed.

It was for Leftwich. We were going to trade him straight up to get Lefty but we just gave them a 7th instead and kept him. If it is the bucs its not a new trade.

How in the hell do you fake a torn Achilles tendon?

I suppose the surgeon who "fixed" it was in on the rouse with some pretend "surgery."
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
