Overall I think he had outstanding physical talents but his head refused to let him put it all together. If he ever got his head on straight he could have been great with the Steelers.
I think what we're going to miss is Holmes' ability after the catch. Hopefully, ARE or one of the youngsters can come in and make com splash plays.
Everyone has touted Emmanuel Sanders' ability to get yards after the catch. I hope he proves he deserves to be on the field like Wallace did last year versus wasting reps on ARE or Battle.

The quote that Pete Carroll agrees that maple bars can be irresistible absolutely floored me. There's comedy, there's high comedy, and then there's irresistible maple bars.

      Tate 'embarrassed' by doughnut incident

RENTON, Wash. -- Seahawks rookie wide receiver Golden Tate apologized Tuesday and said he was "very embarrassed" after police in suburban Seattle gave him a warning for trespassing into a gourmet doughnut shop at 3 a.m. last weekend.

The former Notre Dame star says it was a foolish mistake but that he is glad to have learned a valuable lesson without getting arrested.

Tate says a friend took a couple of maple bars from the shop, which is at the bottom of the building in which Tate lives.

      He says "they are irresistible."

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll says he has talked to Tate, and agrees that maple bars can be irresistible.

The celebrity gossip outlet TMZ first reported the incident Tuesday.

And since I already made fun of Mount Cody as the most likely 2nd round pick in this draft to break into a donut shop to feast on donuts in the middle of the night, it is equally hard to believe that irresistible maple bars weren't the primary culprit behind LenDale White sudden ouster from Seattle.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Antonio Brown and Arnaz Battle looked good at WR and Sanders is definitely a keeper...we may very well end up keeping 6 WRs this season.
