while any help is welcome - the truth is, unless our offense can put up more than 20 points - the outcome will likely not be in our favor. Plus the rats will now commit to the run and TE's as well as having Lamar on some QB draws. Our defense will still have a tall task.

But the offense COULD help them out by keeping the ball and scoring TD's.

But nothing in the last 5 weeks inspires me this will happen. So the rats missing a WR - may not be as big a deal as it should be.

What is an ultra conservative game plan?

Lamar Jackson has a losing record in the playoffs. So does Mike Tomlin. Something has to give.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Not quite. Rats have more other weapons they can/will turn to. I look for them to employ both Likely and Andrews and pick on our ILBs and Safeties in coverage. Rats will probably attack the MOF and intermediate zones with some success. Added to this, their running game has become even better with D. Henry.

We will have to win the turnover battle and open up our offense somewhat to have a realistic shot of beating them
            IMO

Don't worry with Flowers out Andrews and Likely will be open in the middle of the field for most of the day. The Steeler defense hasn't shown up in a playoff games in 5 or 6 years.

uggghhh. so obvious and I hated being right tonight. They didn't need flowers at all to set playoff records against us. another predictable end.
