Do you honestly believe there's something we can do to give us a legit shot at a SB next year?

Because that's a very hard argument to make IMO.

I know the team says it every year. But based on what they actually do, the thing mean is something like this: They aim to make the playoffs every year. And they believe that every berth into the single-elimination tournament is a lottery ticket. And that if you collect enough lottery tickets, you'll win some.

This is the same thing we did in the 90s when we didn't have a great QB. Go to the dance a lot. Hope that you get lucky. Because you'll need to be lucky in the playoffs to beat Stroud, then Allen/Jackson, then Mahomes.

I know the reality of that kind of sucks. But that doesn't change the fact that it's the reality.
