    Steelers 2024 MVP

    I'm torn between this guy:

Cam is the inspirational leader, but TJ rules that defense. Unsung hero on defense is clearly Deshon Elliott. He was an impactful signing
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"

This is a tough one! MVP is the guy we can least afford to lose.

When we've lost TJ in the past, we started losing games, so, a case can be made for him.

We've won games on the foot of Boz, so a case can be made for him.

The offense has come alive under Wilson - at least in a few games - so a case might be made for him by season's end.

As good as Cam has been this year, I feel like we could still be 8-2 without him. Maybe not.

Pickens is our only star at wr. Could we be 8-2 without him?

Plenty of candidates, with plenty of games left for someone to pull away.

We need all the men mentioned in this thread so far

but I give Boz the MVP at this point in the season... is there any kicker who has scored a higher percentage of his teams points? He has been stellar, and provided points our offense would otherwise have been unable to muster

Boswell is on track to kick the most FG in a NFL season. He is 29/30 and his lone miss is an attempt from 50+ yards.

He has the best field-goal percentage (96.7%) of all kickers who have attempted 20 field goals or more this season. He ranks second in field-goal percentage (92.9%) in the fourth quarter and overtime among all NFL kickers with at least 75 such attempts since 2000.

He is the Steeler MVP this season to date and a future hall of fame kicker. I salute him with all the flags.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

            Bozwell, so far......
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

I have to disagree. Heyward had himself another fine night. Blame goes Benton & the rest of the nobodies getting pushed around.

MVP means difficult or impossible to replace. Love Cam and he’s having a stellar year - but Boz is the MVP. hands down.

Something is very wrong when your kicker is in the conversation for MVP, IMO

If Boz got hurt we’d sign a kicker who would be good enough, if Cam goes down the DL is f’d.

Here’s one from left field: Alex Highsmith.

In the five games he’s missed, TJ has 2.5 sacks, 5 QB hits, 20 PPG allowed.

In the six games he’s played, TJ has 5 sacks, 13 QB hits, 14.5 PPG allowed.

D is at its best when he plays.

                          This is a good call.

Probably not "MVP", but earlier in the year I think some (not necessarily on here) that were saying that the D would get better with him out / moved to a back up role in favor of Herbig.

That is true. I'm hoping they resolve their issues quickly - but the inability of the offense to score TD's is a real problem. If they don't, they will squeak into the playoffs and likely won't go far.

But the failures of the offense has allowed the special teams (and in particular) Boz - to shine.

Tomlin trotting him out to try a 57 yarder in a blizzard was quite the statement IMO.
