Did being too aggressive at end of half end Jets season (Rodger's career)?

Let's say they have the same good run we've put together in the next 7 games (loss to Texans and someone else). Then, they'd be 7-9. And they would need to win against the Bills and Dolphins to end the season.

Or, another way to look at it is if they lose to the Texans and @ Bills, they might miss (I think in the new format we probably get one 9-win team most years). They're helped that 2 of their losses are to NFC teams, so they're still 2-3 in the conference (they'll probably need tie breakers).

So I think it's still possible for them to make. But I think it's really hard to go on a streak like that.
Dolphins are a mess at QB. Jets get back Reddick to make their pass rush legit. It was almost like the Steelers missing Highsmith.

NY Jets reach new low as Aaron Rodgers experiment looks like a complete failure

The NY Jets lost their fourth consecutive game in Week 7, as Aaron Rodgers stunk it up on primetime against the Pittsburgh Steelers. What a disaster.

        I get it.

I also think they are better than their current record suggests.

But even very good teams with easy-ish schedules have trouble winning 7 or 8 out of 10.

They've dug themselves a pretty significant hole here.

Of course, not only that, they were going to get the ball coming out of the half, every team is going to try and double dip, as well they should.

Lol, yes he did. Pretty cool move by A-A-Ron.

It was the rookie Beanie Bishop Jr. who picked off Rodgers, the future Hall of Famer, twice for the first two interceptions of his career. Earning himself a postgame interview on NBC, Bishop said he hoped Rodgers would […]

Yep. Season effectively over. Bad loss. Time for AR to hang up the cleats.

While I respect his accomplishments, I’ve just never been an AR fan. In a league of huge egos, his arrogance has always been at the top and it’s put me off. Maybe it’s just the one Super Bowl win against the Steelers, but for the attitude and obnoxious behavior he exhibits, he doesn’t have enough post season success to justify it IMO.

which is a long way of me saying………I’m laughing my ass off at the desperate jets who went all in on that trainwreck.
