I wanted to bring this up earlier but I was hoping another poster would so I don't get condemned for my "negative" opinion.

If PFF is any indication Queen is off to a rough start with a 38.4 grade. He's definitely in the Devin Bush territory. He hasn't looked good in my eyes either. Maybe his play is why the Ravens let him walk so easily, just my thought.

I am not dying because we are 2-0, but I do think we have a lot of improvement ahead if we want to be competitive. As my earlier post, I call this "Fool's Gold".

Relatively speaking it wasn't huge money.
But point taken, his play is a concern so far. For an experienced vet you expect more.

Agreed, and you can always see the perspective based on how a statement is phrased.

Queen has sucked the first two games, did we throw that money away?

The D has been great so far and Queen hasn't even contributed yet. How good will this D be once he settles in and finds his game here?

I do think that it takes time to adjust to wearing the green dot.

Hopefully he starts making more plays.

But I think part of this is that the DL has been playing very well so there's less for the ILBs to clean up.

Queen led the D in tackles this week and was thumping guys. He is fine and will continue to be a force.

He's a new piece to the defense and still working on synergy with the rest of the unit. I'm fine with his performance so far and think as the season progresses he will deliver a greater impact. I had the opportunity to watch him on sunday more closely from the stands - and I thought he played a nice game. I'm pretty sure Tomlin was squawking at him during Renegade and telling him if he wants to be part of the music - he has to deliver the hits.

Don't have enough info to determine the future - but i'm hoping this is another James Farrior situation that pays dividends for a long time
