Our D usually starts slow in every game, even regular season games. Nothing new, but we were not able to see if they would have tightened up in the 2nd series.

Very true, and I know that.... And yes, we did not see "what could have happened" in the following series.... But either way, I thought our secondary looked bad. I will even say terrible, coverage-wise. ... But hey, it's just the first game of pre-season, and just my opinion..... I could be wrong, and probably am.

Two things that stood out to me was coverage and Chris Hoke. We need desperately need Hampton back.

When he filled in for Hampton that year, he looked good, but not tonight.

We need Casey back!! Let him play Coach T!!!! He doesn't need to run, just take up space. I think we all know that Casey can take up space!!!!

... only 1 game into pre-season....... No panic yet.
(but our secondary did look like dog shit.....)
