I'm still thinking we should do a gameday chat board and then paste the contents into a thread for viewing later if folks choose.

The chat box should be up by regular season.

We will be able to chat with each other live...then paste the transcripts later.

OK... Overall, how would you rate our defense?..... I personally was disappointed. Your opinion?

It's hard to judge preseason because they are playing basic packages.

Well since it's in the works can we make sure our usernames from this board transfer over to the chat board when launched. Most chat boards make you enter a new temp uname which sucks for continuity. Can you imagine me being just Costanza instead of Costanza2k1 that would just be devastating and confusing to the folks.

We're getting a lot of pressure, but then our secondary just leaves receivers wide open.

As far as O-line blocking, it could be a lot better. Thus far I'm not too impressed.

Thankfully, this is preseason.

I wouldn't sweat it. There's no gameplanning, all vanilla...we're not a straight up defense we're a zone blitzing team...we'll be better than fine this year.

I think...I could be wrong but I think it will be a chat box at the top of the screen. Your log on will be your name...but Ill check with J.

...Shawn... If we go to a "chat box" format, wouldn't it be a freeforall with alot of confusion?.... We tried that over at the Trib, and it was a maylee... Could you PM me with a little info about it?.... It initially sounds like a mess, but obviously you guys think it would be good... Maybe I am mistaken on how it would pan out....

Hey guys. Watching the game up here on that Justin.tv link and it's good.
Been following the commentary on the board first half. It's great to be watching Steeler football again even if preseason.

Mendenhall looks great. FWP lookes strong. The O-line first unit held up well. Does Santonio have some burst or what! DB's are playing off again and giving it up in front of them which is tiresome. Hope Charlie is OK.
