    Next year's record

Assume it is a 4 game suspension. What is next season shaping up to being. My opinion:

    Best possible: 10-6

    Most Likely: 8-8

    Worst case: 6-10

I think the D holding up in the 4th quarter will play a bigger factor in record than Ben sitting out.

I could see them being 3-1 heading into the bye week.

10-6 is the best I see but I agree that 8-8 is the most likely scenario.

7-9...this team loses their best WR for the season and their QB for the first month. Plus you have to somehow manage keeping Ben sharp in preseason while getting the other QB ready. You will also have the media buzzing constantly about Ben and what it all means. I think the distractions combined with the loss of talent will be too much to overcome.
The Steelers’ went through seven consecutive drafts (2003-09) without taking an offensive lineman in the first two rounds, the longest such streak by any franchise this century.
