PITTSBURGH -- Whether Ben Roethlisberger's suspension turns out to be six games or four, it's already changed betting odds. Las Vegas Sports Consultants said Wednesday the Steelers had gone from 12-1 to 20-1 in its future odds to win the Super Bowl.

Tony Sinisi, odds director for Las Vegas Sports Consultants, said the change was made after NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced the suspension. His firm provides sports betting odds to an array of casinos in Nevada, where sports betting is legal.

"Fortuitously for us, not all of the stuff that we're going to put up for the NFL is up yet," Sinisi said.

"What that really could have impacted is over-under win totals for the particular teams. We don't have that up yet."

The suspension also has changed the future Super Bowl victory odds for two of the Steelers division rivals. Sinisi said the Cincinnati Bengals went from 30-1 to 25-1 and that the Baltimore Ravens went from 18-1 to 15-1.

Sinisi noted Cincinnati and Baltimore play Pittsburgh twice and that the AFC North "has been weakened" by Roethlisberger's absence at the start.

Sinisi said Las Vegas Sports Consultants has not yet put up betting lines on individual games, such as Pittsburgh's Sept. 12 opener at home against the Atlanta Falcons.

"A lot of this stuff that would have had a larger impact on us later in the season, it's not something we have to deal with," he said.

Sinisi said putting up a game line at this point also would be complicated by the possibility the Steelers might yet make a quarterback trade.

"There's a chance they might be doing some dealing here beyond what they've done previously, so that would be a difficult line to make with the information we know right now," he said. -- Gary Mihoces

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
