    "Ed Bouchette: I think I would say that right now. I don't have to wait until Saturday. The trade talk has gotten out of hand."

    I 100% agree with this. He isn't gonna get traded. So, where is he wrong?

      @JasonLaCanfora

      Steelers have been in contact w/ Raiders regarding Big Ben trade. Might be only real option. More on NFLN and NFL.com

        Not sure if it matters- well yea, I think it does.

        Yeah well that's Ed...not exactly the most credible source. And that makes zero sense. So, the Rams and Bills just happened to call the Steelers FO to tell them they are not interested in a Qb who is NOT being shopped around? lol...anyone else find that a little funny?

        It could be that the Rams and the Bill are no longer interested in Ben now that they know what the Steelers wanted to get for him

          What else are they going to say? "Ben's a horrible SOB, and we're going to unload him ASAP"? "Ben's an alcoholic with grabby hands"?

          If they don't plan to trade him, they'll talk him up for the fans. If they DO plan to trade him, they'll talk him up for trade value.

          The Rooney's actions can go either way, which is why it doesn't matter what they say at this point. Hell, all this trade talk could be completely manufactured by them as a way to make Ben realize that his ass is truly on the line this time.

          We won't know until we know. And I'm guessing we won't know until tomorrow evening.

          If Ben makes it to 1.18, he's safe.

            Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

            Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

            We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

            We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
