Final Ruthless Mock Draft (if there are no more trades)

    1.18 Rolando McClain, ILB, Alabama
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 249.

2.52 Brandon Ghee, CB, Wake Forest
    Height: 6-0. Weight: 191.

3.82 Alex Carrington, DE, Arkansas State
    Height: 6-5. Weight: 280.

4.116 John Jerry, OG, Ole Miss
    Height: 6-5. Weight: 335.

5.151 Blair White, WR, Michigan State
    Height: 6-2. Weight: 205.

5.155 Sam Young, OT, Notre Dame
    Height: 6-8. Weight: 315.

5.164 Myron Rolle, SS, Florida State
    Height: 6-2. Weight: 215.

5.166 Deji Karim, RB, Southern Illinois
    Height: 5-9. Weight: 210.

    6.188 Ekom Udofia, NT, Stanford
    Height: 6-2. Weight: 315.

7.242 Adrian Tracy, OLB, William & Mary
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 248.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I'd be ecstatic if we use our first three picks on defense with McClain being the first pick.

A most excellent draft. Hard to find fault with that one if it played out that way.

      Only comments are:

      1. Doubt Jerry is there in Round 4
      2. Young could probably be had later
      3. Don't think that Rolle has the physical skills to be anything more than a career back up. Barry Church might be a better pick at that point.

That is truly a well thought out mock draft that merits praise and compliments!

You mean we traded Santonio for Myron Rolle? INCONCEIVABLE!

No...we apparently traded Santonio Holmes for Sam Young. Myron Rolle is taken with the first of our two 5th round compensatory picks. I probably should have put Blair White in the Santonio spot instead of 4 picks earlier so it would be WR-for-WR. Oh well.
