    Final Sunshine Mock...my turn!

    Rd 1: Mike Iupati, G, 6’5”, 330lbs. Idaho.
Notes: Plays Guard who plays early but becomes eventual OT. Has future All Pro potential. This immediately improves the run game.

Rd 2: Ben Tate, RB, 5’11”, 220lbs, Auburn
Notes: Our RB depth is frightenly thin. Mendy gets hurt and we are done. Tate is perfect #2 who can run and catch.

Rd 3: Torrell Troup, NT, 6’3” 320lbs, Central Florida
Notes: High character, high motor player in the Chris Hoke mold. IMO will prove over time to be the best NT in this draft.

    Rd 4: Amari Spievey, CB, 5’11”, 195 lbs.Iowa
Notes: Adds depth to a position that needs it. Another young guy to push for playing time.

Rd 5a: Jamar Cheney, LB, 6’1” 242lbs., Miss State
Notes: Yound ILB depth. Has time to learn and develop behind farrior and Foote.

    Rd 5b: Kam Chancellor, S, 6’3” 230lbs, Va Tech
Notes: Insurance policy at Safety especially at SS for Troy. Has the size to play up near the line as a SS in the LeBeau defense.

Rd 5c: Joe Webb, WR, 6’3”, 223lbs, UAB
Notes: May be gone by this time but great athlete converting to WR. Hines, ARE and Battle can show him how.

Rd 6: Mike Kafka, QB, 6’3” 225lbs, Northwestern
Notes: Batch won’t last forever (probably not even one game) and who knows about Ben

Rd 7a: AJ Edds, LB, 6’4” 246lbs, Iowa
Notes: Depth for OLB. Good outside pass rusher.

    Rd 7b: Sean Lissemore, DT, 6’3” 297lbs, W&M
Notes: Depth, developmental player adding more youth to the DL.

That is an excellent mock draft. :P

But, one I hope does not pan out; OL and RB in the first two rounds gives the Steelers depth where they are youngest, offense. When do you suggest they begin getting younger on defense with prospects that are more can't miss than development?

I like Troup, but anything after that is hope and a prayer in rounds 4, 5 and 6.

You deserve an Article 15 for even suggesting that draft with offense in your first two picks.

I'd rather see us take C.J. Spiller at 18. Really!

If Spiller was there I'd have a heartattack running to NY to give the commish the card. But alas, he will be long gone. Still IMO the absolute most sure thing pick in Round 1.

I would be fine with that.....especially if Spivey somehow lasts that long!
