Like JOM said, "at this point." He did not deny internal discussions about trading him. No media outlets have said that there were discussions with other teams. Right now, they plan on keeping him. But, anything could happen especially if Ben continues to disrespect the franchise (as he did as his PC with that awful, insincere sounding speech and trailer trash look). He is under the microscope now, and he better start to improve.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

Birtikidis...this just isnt any media guy. This comes from LaCanfora from the NFL Network/NFL. I think this dude is pretty connected.
He is the one that reported that Hampton would be a surprise cut during training camp last year.

He may be a stooge that is fed mis-information for the purpose of motivating players, but I'm not sure that I'd call him well connected.

I was just listening to him after the PC... he seems to talk out both sides of his mouth. and he talks with enough conviction that he sounds like he knows what he's talking about. but as Eisen said (to the effect of) all this talk of trade is fantasy land

I agree... no one wants to trade Ben but he is making it easier to think about it with the off field issues. It's not like Ben's on field talent makes him trade bait. I would be furious if we traded Ben to get Sam Glassford or Tim Teblow...

Those guys are not franchise QB's IMO.

I would say that it isn't easier to think about it.. i think it's more of, now we kinda HAVE to think about it. I mean, I would be disappointed as hell if we did trade him, bc it was never a possibility until now..

You agree with me? Remember the glory days when we fought over whether it was the D's fault or the O's fault? Yeah ... I long for those days again! :P

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

It's been so hectic I forgot who my enemies are on here.

...or maybe I just disagree based on topic and not person...

I'm Great Taste though... Steelability is less filling.

yes, the Rooneys are pissed off but more than anything else this is meant as a very loud and clear message to Ben.

if he does something stupid again however, he is gone...
